The Science of Success

The PERMA Model
applied to sports.

Developed by Dr. Martin Seligman, the father of positive psychology, this model is our compass. We don't guess how to motivate your child; we apply a validated science.

P

Positive Emotions

Pleasure releases dopamine, accelerating motor learning. A happy child learns 3x faster than an anxious child.

E

Engagement (Flow)

We structure challenges to reach the state of "Flow", where concentration is total and time disappears.

R

Positive Relationships

The mentor-athlete bond is the foundation of emotional security. Knowing they are unconditionally supported frees the child from the fear of making mistakes.

M

Meaning

Every exercise has a "why". We connect effort to the child's values (mutual aid, courage) to give meaning to fatigue.

A

Accomplishment

Confidence is not given; it is built through victories. We create "micro-successes" in every session to build self-efficacy.

The THRIVE Scorecard

The Engineering of Transformation: Transforming the intangible into a measurable asset.

Scientific Precision: All these measurements are made using standardized psychometric tests validated by international psychology committees. These are real diagnostic tools, not just observations.

01
Tier I

The Biometric Check-up (Systematic Follow-up)

A physiological analysis at each session to adapt the intensity. We don't force learning on a tired nervous system.

Stress & Recovery

Measures "Readiness". A low HRV signals invisible fatigue; we adapt the session to protect self-esteem.

Mental & Global Load

Evaluation of sleep, mood, and global stress (school, family, sports). The child is taken into account as a whole.

Perception of Effort

Detects mental blocks: if perceived effort is 9/10 for a simple exercise, we intervene immediately.

02
Tier II

The DNA of Resilience (S1 & S6 Diagnostics)

Tangible proof of the change in sports personality. We measure the transition from "avoidance" to "proactivity".

Mental Toughness

Measures the 4Cs: Confidence, Control, Challenge, Commitment. We bring the child out of the shadows.

Personal Flourishing

The measurement of "Flourishing". Scientific validation that the child is happy, engaged, and accomplished.

Character Strengths

Changes the narrative: we no longer talk about what needs fixing, but about their powerful "signature strengths".

03
Tier III

Invisible Mastery (Transition Measures)

Proving that internal values translate into external actions on the ice.

Intrinsic Motivation

Proves that the child now plays for themselves (intrinsic) and not out of fear of disappointing.

Technical Confidence

Surgical measurement of confidence in a technical gesture. Confidence is no longer blurry; it becomes a certainty.

Observable Behaviors

The "Gold Standard". Observation of concrete behaviors (e.g., encouraging a teammate after a mistake).

The Measurable Impact of Happiness

Tactical Creativity

Positive emotions broaden the attentional field, allowing one to see more play solutions (Broaden-and-Build Theory).

Stress Symptoms

The caring approach reduces cortisol (stress hormone), promoting faster physical and mental recovery.

Strategic Visualization to maximize value. A report worthy of a high-end consultant, not just an instructor.

Spider web chart overlaying Session 1 (Baseline) and Session 6.

The Micro-Victories Log

"Encouraged their goalie after a conceded goal (Leadership)"

"Requested an extra rep on their own initiative (Engagement)"

"Kept their calm after two consecutive failures (Emotional Control)"

Concrete BARS observations.
